Weekly mobility plan — light, moderate, rest

This is the third distinct weekly-style blueprint on MoveEase: it balances mobility doses with walking and a true rest flavor day. Swap session names with your favourites from other pages as long as intensity tags stay honest.

How to use this weekly grid

Read Monday through Sunday as an example template, not a mandate. If Tuesday energy is low, downgrade moderate to light by cutting minutes twenty percent. If sleep was poor, prefer rest activities that still include easy walking to the mailbox.

Day Tag Morning Midday Evening
Monday Light 12 min joint circles + cat-camel 10 min easy walk 8 min static calf/hamstring
Tuesday Moderate 15 min flow + hip openers Active break Reset row 20 min steady walk + balance 5 min
Wednesday Light 10 min posture cues only 3 min micro drills hourly 12 min flexibility holds
Thursday Moderate Strength Session A shortened 15 min brisk walk segment Spine unwind supine 10 min
Friday Light Ankle + T-spine emphasis 12 min Walking commute or laps 18 min Social walk optional — easy pace
Saturday Moderate Longer mobility 20 min Outdoor errands on foot Optional gentle stretch while watching calm media
Sunday Rest bias Slow breathing + neck nods 8 min Casual stroll 15–25 min Bath or shower heat + light calf pump in bedroom

Volume breakdown table

Category Approx weekly minutes (example week) Adjustment lever
Mobility / flow ~95 Trim evening first on busy weeks.
Walking ~110 Combine two short walks into one if schedule tightens.
Strength / balance ~25 Missed? Do knee-down planks + carries next light day.

When life disrupts the plan

Travel, illness, and caregiving compress time unpredictably. Preserve anchors: one short walk, one breathing minute, one hip opener. Log honestly in Movement tracker so you see resilience, not failure rows.

Example routine A — Compressed weekday

Morning: 6 min from Daily mobility flow midday column. Lunch: 10 min walk. Evening: figure-four stretch and diaphragmatic breathing only — fine if strength work is skipped that day.

More example overlays

Example routine B — Travel week overlay
  1. Hotel: towel sunrise salutation modified 8 min.
  2. Airport: calf raises at gate 3 × 25 during delays.
  3. Arrival day: classify as rest bias regardless of step count.

Beginner note

If you are new, treat both “moderate” days as light for the first 10–14 days. Add brisk segments only when walks feel routine.
